Who Do You Trust With Your Tacos?

Location, location, location.

It’s the retailer’s version of “If you build it, they will come.”

For months, anticipation had been building. Something new was being added to Randolph Square on South Salem Street. 

The fence went up. So cool. Wonder what it will be?

The ground was graded, and the foundation was poured. There may be a sign tomorrow!

The building is going up… Oh, it’s a Taco Bell.

Just across the way from a Pizza Hut.

We are confident that it made sense to a businessperson who reviewed the data and demographic statistics. We mean no disrespect to the company that sold $15 billion worth of Mexican food in the U.S. last year. We mean no disrespect to the company that served up $3 billion worth of pizza across the U.S., either.

But this is Dover. This is Jersey. 

We are that data and demographics. We’ll take our taste buds, love for authentic native recipes, and complete respect for small business owners to eat tacos with our friends and neighbors at the spots all over town.
