All-women Dover Town Council bloc paves way for November race.

Sandra Wittner, Krista Seanor, Alice Plastoris, and Elizabeth Tapia announced in March that they had formed "Team Dover" to run together for the Dover Town Council. On Tuesday, they took the first step toward that goal with an emphatic victory in the Democratic primary for four spots.
Here are their individual responses to the results:
Sandra Wittner: “I am incredibly proud of Team Dover 2026. Krista and Elizabeth worked tirelessly throughout this campaign, engaging with residents, listening to their concerns, and earning their trust. Their decisive victories confirm what many of us have long known: Dover is ready for respectful, responsive representation that puts constituents first.
I look forward to welcoming Dr. Krista Seanor, Alice Plastoris, and Elizabeth Tapia to the council in January and working together to serve the community in my last term.”

Elizabeth Tapia: “Last night, the residents of Ward 4, and Dover as a whole, made their voices heard. They showed up and sent a clear message: they are ready for positive change, and that is exactly what I promise to deliver.
I am incredibly grateful to every resident who opened their door, shared their concerns, supported Team Dover, and put their trust in me. Ward 4 deserves leaders who listen, ask the tough questions, advocate for residents, and work every day to improve the quality of life in our community. Dover has given me so much, and I am honored to have the opportunity to give back to the town that shaped me.
This win is especially meaningful for my generation and for young Latinas like me, who can sometimes feel unheard in today’s political and economic climate. I hope this serves as a reminder that your voice matters and that there is a place for you at the table.
This campaign is far from over, and the work is just beginning. I look forward to serving Ward 4 and all of Dover with transparency and a commitment to moving our community forward together.”
