'For The Love of Art' event launches ceramics studio and art gallery in Dover's Richards Building.

The basement of Dover's Richards Building has been buzzing with activity for the past year, becoming a hub of artistic and cultural activity.
Now, the space known as "The Amp" will open its doors on Saturday, April 11, giving everyone a chance to see what the revitalized basement has to offer.
"For the Love of Art" will spotlight The Amp's ceramics studio, led by Ceramics Director Kaylee Gernant. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Ceramics at County College of Morris.
"We're excited to finally open both The Amp's ceramics studio doors and our gallery space to the public," said Executive Director Walter F. Rodriguez. "The building has been abuzz with local ceramicists, painters, woodcarvers, and more over the past few weeks, and we're thrilled to show off what everyone's been up to!"
Saturday's event will include live music, the first Amp gallery show, and more. It will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Find @theamparts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube or visit theamparts.com for more information.
