Furia Opening The Amp

IDEA Cultural presents a free show at new Richards Building arts, entertainment, and education space.

The Amp is the arts component of the Richards Building revitalization by developer West Morris Capital (which also owns DOVERNOW Magazine); the goal is to turn the basement into a self-sustaining arts center. Visitors who have been in the pre-Amp basement are in for a big surprise. The formerly open space will feature a 99-seat performance area with two stages, hosting a variety of theater, music, and spoken-word events. The other half of the space will include art and ceramics classrooms, as well as rehearsal and recording studios.
