Dover’s passionate car lovers are ready to shift into high gear at the 2025 Nielsen Chevrolet Car Show.

Sponsored by Nielsen Chevrolet and Dover Rotary, the event will roll polished classics and roaring engines into the spotlight. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 21, at Nielsen Chevrolet on Route 46 (rain date: Sept. 28), rows of vehicles—open to all years, makes, and models—will be lined up for admiration. Registration opens at 8 a.m., with fees set at $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the show.

The event will feature judged categories, so expect trophies, door prizes, commemorative T-shirts, food, and live entertainment. Every dollar raised goes to Dover Rotary’s charitable work in the community.

“There’s antiques to classics—’20s, ‘30s, ‘80s, '90s– and everything in between,” said organizer David Pennella. “The weather is going to be great. It’s always a wonderful, easy-going afternoon, a true community event.”
