CK Solutions Wins First DOVERNOW Small-Biz Ad Contest

DOVERNOW is a local small business. We appreciate the unique talents and constant hustle of every business owner in our communities, who use them daily to serve one another and feed their families. We wanted to give something back to these businesses, so we offered a Small-Business Support Contest, with a business entry getting one complimentary half-page ad. Dover-based CK Solutions was the winner, chosen randomly from 165 local businesses. Owner Cade Krajcsovics shared a bit of his story:
“We started the business in June 2025 in a very natural way. One day, we were hanging out and talking about how many people struggle with junk removal because they lack the time, equipment, or ability to handle it themselves,” he said. “We decided to post a few ads on Nextdoor with the simple goal of helping anyone who needed junk removed. We are completely owner-operated, which allows us to stay hands-on and personally involved in every job.”
Like many small-business owners, they work seven days a week. “Life does not always wait for business hours. When someone needs help, we want to be there. You could say we are workaholics, but our greatest motivation is helping people who need our services. Knowing that we are making someone’s life easier by removing a burden from their space is what drives us every day.
Krajcsovics says his team can handle any situation. “The craziest and most challenging items we have disposed of have been bed bug-infested couches and mattresses. Jobs like that require care, planning, and a willingness to step into situations most people would rather avoid. For us, it is another way to help people during stressful moments and give them peace of mind.”
