BIO
Dedicated community advocate and disability rights champion, Christopher Almada, is running for Dover Council. With deep roots in Dover, Christopher's family has called this town home since his grandfather immigrated from Uruguay in 1974. He has served for three years as Vice President of Sativa Cross, a non-profit dedicated to advocating for disability rights and medical-use cannabis rights. With six years of board experience, Christopher brings proven leadership and a passion for service. Christopher is a seasoned public speaker who has addressed audiences at universities, conventions, and city halls. Committed to making Dover a safer, more accessible community, Christopher's platform focuses on increasing housing affordability and safety, enhancing disability access throughout the town, ensuring transparency in local government, and collaborating to alleviate school overcrowding. As a four-year organizer of community cleanups and a creative art studio manager, Christopher understands the importance of practical solutions and community engagement.
